30 ans de soins : une célébration de la sensibilisation et de la défense des intérêts des personnes affectées par le cancer du sein
En novembre 1994, il y a 30 ans de cela, le RCCS était officiellement constitué et enregistré en tant qu’organisme de bienfaisance. Depuis 30 ans, le RCCS a acquis une expérience avérée dans l’offre de programmes de sensibilisation centrés sur les patient∙es qui abordent les lacunes et répondent à leurs besoins. Le RCCS continue également d’afficher des réussites importantes dans le domaine de la défense de leurs intérêts : des réussites qui ont permis d’améliorer l’accès des patient∙es atteint∙es d’un cancer du sein au Canada à des soins optimaux.

Run for a Cause in 2026: Support People with Breast Cancer
The year 2026 brings a powerful trifecta of opportunities to run, fundraise, and support the Canadian Breast Cancer Network (CBCN). These exciting events are more than just races; they are meaningful ways to create real change for Canadians affected by breast cancer. Your support helps ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone. This year, the funds that we receive will go towards our Knowledge and Impact programming that is focused on advancing education and equitable policy in breast cancer care and treatment.
Run to Empower – May 2nd, Ottawa
Taking place at the Experimental Farm in Ottawa, the Run to Empower event is dedicated to supporting and advancing women’s running in Canada. This inspiring event showcases exceptional local talent and includes:
- a women’s-only performance race,
- an inclusive 5K race open to all athletes, and
- the Little Warriors Kids 1K race.
CBCN is proud to be the official charity partner of Run to Empower this year! We invite you to register for a race and make a donation to support our 2026 initiatives that will educate, support, and advocate for individuals impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis. You can also fundraise on behalf of CBCN if you are not able to register and run.

Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend – May 23rd to 24th, Ottawa
The 52nd annual Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend is Canada’s largest multi-distance race event and home to the country’s biggest marathon. As part of the Desjardins Charity Challenge, runners can fundraise for and donate to a charity of their choice and once again, CBCN is an official charity partner.
Choose from the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, 2K, kids’ marathon, or even a combination of races for an extra challenge. Not running? You can still support CBCN by donating online. Spots are filling quickly, so register and support CBCN today!
TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon – October 17th and 18th, Toronto
The TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon is the grand finale of the Canada Running Series, the Athletics Canada national marathon championship, and an Olympic qualifier.
