Travel for Clinical Trials
If you are travelling to take part in a clinical trial, inquire with the clinical trial coordinator if there is assistance from the trial sponsor for travel costs. Many clinical trials make provisions for local travel requirements, while some may have provisions for longer distance travel. The availability of assistance will depend on the nature of the trial and the sponsor.
If you are travelling outside of your province or territory to take part in a clinical trial, and there are no treatment options available for your disease at home, there may be options to apply ahead for travel reimbursement. See more information under Travel for Treatment.
