The Canadian Cancer Society offers low-income individuals living with cancer an annual travel allowance.
For low-income individuals with cancer. If your treatment or follow-up locations are less than 200 km from your home, you must have at least 10 required appointments per year. If you live more than 200 km from your home, no minimum appointments are required.
Have a health care professional complete the application form available on their website. Mail, fax or e-mail it to the attention of the person in charge of the Travel Treatment Fund.
