SBCC Workshop: Connecting Peer Support in Saskatchewan

Join Saskatchewan Breast Cancer Connect for their in-person workshop. The goal of this one-day workshop is to enable people offering community-based peer support in Saskatchewan to build relationships and establish a network of support for people with breast cancer. Join us in building connections, sharing knowledge and strengthening skills. Facilitated by Danielle VandeZande from the Canadian Cancer Society, this workshop will:

  • Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between peer support facilitators
  • Leverage new and existing group activity to build a network of support across Saskatchewan
  • Identify what is needed to sustain this network and plan next steps

Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 10 am to 4 pm GST

Who:

This workshop is for anyone doing peer support in Saskatchewan or anyone how has completed a peer support training session.

Cost:

Free

Travel grants will be available for those travelling more than 50 km.
