Coffee Conversation: Intimacy and Breast Cancer
Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual "Coffee Conversation" on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor, or medical professional on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.
May 24th's Coffee Conversation features Dr. Misty Smith. Dr. Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sex Therapist. She received her PhD in Counselor Education in 2007, LPC (2012), and Supervising LPC, Certified Sex Therapist through AASECT (2016).
She owns and runs a multi-practitioner group counseling practice in Birmingham, AL founded by her in 2015. She's been in a private practice setting for 11 years and a practicing counselor for 23 years.
