Questions & Experts: A Surgical Oncologist Answers your Questions about Breast Cancer Surgery

Oftentimes, breast cancer patients have questions and concerns about their diagnosis and their health that they are unable to get the answers to. Whether it's because of limited time with their primary healthcare provider or because they don't have access to a specialist, many times, their questions go unanswered. To address this, Canadian Breast Cancer Network has put together a Q&E: Questions and Experts series. We hope that patients are able to take advantage of these series by asking our hosted experts any questions that they may not otherwise be able to ask.

In this Q&E session, Dr. Mark Basik, MD, FRCPC, a Surgical Oncologist at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, QC will be taking questions about breast cancer surgery. Questions can be asked during the live session or be submitted in advance to jgordon@cbcn.ca with the subject line: SURGERY Q&E SESSION.
