Rural Women

Rural, remote and Northern women and men with breast cancer face a number of challenges that are unique to rural life, including isolation and a lack of peer support. Rural women are often required to travel great distances, or even to move, for treatments. These factors can affect how one manages a breast cancer experience, and results in unique needs in term of information and support.

This subsite attempts to provide a comprehensive collection of resources for rural women. If you know of any resources that should be included, please let us know by emailing cbcn@cbcn.ca.
