EUROPA DONNA EUROPA DONNA is a Europe-wide Coalition of affiliated groups of women that facilitates the exchange and spread of pertinent information concerning breast cancer through the different cultures it represents. Each European Union country has its own group that works autonomously within Europe. Though the organization is primarily a lobby group for breast cancer awareness in Europe, it provides a lot of helpful information about the various aspects of breast cancer. SHARE What you need to know about Breast Cancer (in French, German and Italian) “What you need to know about breast cancer” is an online pamphlet published by the pharmaceutical company Sandoz Suisse. It provides information on the nature of breast cancer, its detection, diagnosis and various stages of development. It also deals with treatment and follow-up care methods, rehabilitation possibilities and support for patients with breast cancer. In addition, the pamphlet contains a glossary on the main concepts of breast cancer with explanations, as well as a section on the progress of scientific research in this field. YourShoes 24/7 Breast Cancer Support Multilingual Hotline (Available in 150 languages) YourShoes is a US-based, 24/7 toll-free hotline staffed by trained peer counsellors who are breast cancer survivors. They offer interpreters in 150 languages. Simply call the YourShoes hotline and state the desired language in English (e.g. "Polish").
